Poor Edward!

After watching this movie it disappoints me to see Edward Norton in such a terrible film, I wasn't expecting some cinematic masterpiece, but I did have hopes for something better than what was delivered.

Definitely not something for Edward Norton to add to his otherwise impressive list of movie credits.

Far from great!

This movie just wasn't great, it had the cast, and we know they are capable, but this movie just didn't pull it off. In fact it didn't even come close! It might be that too many of people had expectations that this movie could rival the performances they made in Heat, which is not the case, and is why Heat will always remain one of my all time favourite movies, because they set the bar so high with it.

Short story, this movie is still worth seeing, just be sure to leave your expectations aside before watching it.

the tropical thunder

Awesomely funny movie, the product spoofs at the beginning were a laugh, and jack blacks offers of oral sex were hilarious!!! As much as it pains me to admit, Tom Cruise was awesome in this movie, his closing scene was the icing on the cake!

It wasn't all that bad

Don't misinterpret the subject line here, it wasn't a masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination, but like I said it wasn't all that bad either.

I had a couple of drinks with my gf and we had some laughs, definitely wasn't as bad as 2/10 from IMDB, 'The Ex' which we watched today also was far worse!

Take a look for yourself, don't have any expectations or preconceptions and you might find it an enjoyable watch, MIGHT being the operative word :)

The trailers don't do this movie justice

I went to see this movie last night at the cinema and I was pleasantly surprised, as the subject says the trailers for this movie don't do it justice.

Overall a good funny movie, well worth seeing if you like this type of movie.

Its Rambo... enough explaining! Would have been a hard job to do better than the original, that said i do like a good action flick still, but im a bit older than when i first saw the original so this latest installment just didn't do it for me.
